12 more hours and summer vacation will commence. Big plans this summer. I don't do this LJ thing....at all. The only thing I have used this piece-of-garbage computer for is school work. I have gotten by the whole year without a printer and word processor. Thank you hotmail. School has been insane this semester. Don't get me wrong, classes weren't so bad, it was just the first time I have had to really, really think about a career and future. I have always lived day by day and took things as they were. NOW I need to plan ahead. What will I be doing years from now. Who knows and I will still try not to think about it.
Anyway, this summer should be cool. Some things to note:
-Wisdom Teeth out in a week (fuck)
-Bruins potentially making it to the next round
-Attempt to golf every other day (In need of sun)
-Summer puck
-July 4th madness
-Seattle
-Peaks Island for a week
-Working at Dimillos. Come visit, I'll get you sloshed.
-Apartment hunt

Look at all that snow. Maine is getting slammed over the next few days. Sledding or skiing (if I can get to a mountain) might be in order next week since all of the ponds will be snow covered disallowing me to play pond hockey. It's a fair trade though.

Lady: Excuse me I have a question
Me: Go for it
Lady: We realized you were pretty young. BUT, how old do you need to be to serve liquor and what are the rules?
Me: Oh, you have to be...WAIT, how old do you think I am?
Lady:Hmmmm....16 or 17
Me: ha *put hands in face*

I had the greatest Birthday. I won't go into specifics because no one wants to hear that. But, it was a wild and eventful evening nonetheless.
I will be moving back to Portland until the middle of January on Wednesday. Id like to see as many people as possible because I will have a LOT of free time on my hands. Ill only be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday which leaves the entire week off. Yes. |

I turn 21 tomorrow...WHAT. It only feels like yesterday I was able to first go out and buy cigarettes, scratch tickets and porn. The three essentials to living. The holiday weekend went quite well. Got to see some family I rarely see as well as some old friends and faces. I stayed clear away from the mall, therefore my weekend hasn't been too stressful.
I realized I hate my job today. I've been trying to deny it because it's a pretty alright job to have. Its just I want to do something else for a change of pace. Being a bar bitch for the winter might send me through the roof. I've been brainstorming ideas of what to do and I am going to apply for an internship either next year or the year after with the Portland Pirates in their marketing department. I'm trying to major in business/marketing so why not incorporate hockey? That job would keep me on my toes.
Speaking of which, the ponds need to freeze. I only have a month and a half till the State Pond Hockey Tournament. Thats right. Come sip on some hot coco and Allens coffee brandy and watch a bunch of bush-league lumberjacks slap a puck around.
I turn 21 in two or three weeks. Winter break looks pretty promising. |

So I'm finally doing it. I am letting go of Maine for a bit and putting it on the back burner. If all goes well I will be going to school in London for a semester next school year. Then when I get back maybe head out west. Who knows, I am just going to go day by day for now. |

So New York was pretty excellent.
- Spent all day Friday traveling
- Had a house party at the guys place for Franco's Birthday.
- Ended up sitting on the roof, which overlooked New York City, for four hours until the sun came up.
- Left the house twice Saturday just to grab a burrito for lunch and a taco for dinner. (Haha, I want to eat either of those two items daily. Alternate days?)
- Purple Rain is a ridiculous movie.
- Once Evan got out of work we all ended up venturing off deep into Brooklyn.
- Walked for an hour or two and wound up at some huge bike event held by a local crew. People from all around the area create RIDICULOUS bikes and do different competitions. This year one bike had a flame thrower which claimed first prize. Bike jousting ended the competition. This is something I want to do sometime.
- The after party was held at a small apartment complex down the road. There ended up being about 300 to 400 people there. A bunch of crust bands played and afterwards a DJ performed. I am now partied out for a while

Finally, its the weekend. This week of school was absolutely mind wrenching. But now, 2 tests and 5 papers later I am on my way to New York. I leave in the morning with Franco and Chris and we will be staying in Brooklyn with Evan, Ace and Billy. If your in the area let any of us know. Going to be a good one |

So I am finally getting my leg looked at tomorrow. Not exactly sure what it is. Not even sure if it is a bite or not but I am one itchy guy right now. Thats one thing Ill make sure to tell the doc tomorrow. It turned from red orange to light purple. Fuckin sexy
Schools going. I caught myself in a rut the last few weeks. I'm trying to dig myself out now. There have been numerous things on my mind as of late. In class I can't concentrate. I just constantly think and think. I've been drowning in my own questions. School, plans, friends, girls, love, work, . Those are a few items that have been eating my brain away daily. Fuck. Everything will sit in place soon for some easy sailing. My goal is to just have fun in whatever the fuck I am doing. As long as this world is still spinning I shouldn't dwell on worthless things.

Hockey playoffs ended tonight. Scouts were there though. I have some pretty good opportunities ahead but there is a catch. Drop school. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Need to make my decision by December but I am not really sure what to do. Education? Passion? Who the fuck knows. I feel like my prime is way over.
Anyways, Friday Coyne and I are cruisin down to Boston for Sigur Ros and then going to a house warming party at Beacon Hill. Should be wild. The not so wild part is that I need to be out of Boston by 8am because I work at 10. I have NO FUCKING idea how to get out of that city. Shit show. |

So I have glasses, I guess. They are pretty hard to get used to but every day is getting a bit easier. I had an opportunity to get surgery on my eye but turned it down. So instead, Im stuck with those luscious pieces of glass.
Anyway, college is about two weeks underway and has only felt like three days. Weeks feel like 24 hours to me. The atmosphere in Gorham this year is abnormal. I feel like Portland is where I need to be. I am going to make the best of this year though, and enjoy it to it's full potential. Should be interesting to say the least.
The weather has been unreal.
The leaves are falling.
Books cost too much.
I keep tripping on stairs.
I'm cutting down alcohol consumption to once a week, if that.
I need to find a cute girl.
The Taurus is costing me a fortune.
Boston Saturday for a Sox game. Let me know if your in town.
